Also won’t need to read the Rick drove him out posts. I’d have been fine if he went back to college because I’m always going to appreciate what he did for us but really hoping he finds a spot or if not drafted finds the best team fit situation

Give him credit. Giving up 2 mill for a year I wouldn’t give it up and if I was his advisor I’d be driving him to campus to sign paperwork

From day one RJ was staying in the draft. All the stuff about him and Rick was overblown. The Portal was just a fail safe but the plan was always for him to go pro even if the mock drafts did not have him on the boards.

Just to add from a purely selfish SJU fan point of view I am glad he will not be wearing another college jersey after this year.

But again everything I was told back when he declared was he was staying in the draft.

Wish RJ all the luck in the world and think he has a good chance of going somewhere in the second round. Frankly he'd be a good fit off the bench for the Knicks if Thibs would ever play rookies.
