One of my musical heroes from my younger days passed away today at 81. Saw the great Jimmy Cliff at my Father's Place in Roslyn in the late 1970s - great showman as well as singer/songwriter.

I hope Jimmy went straight to heaven and is not as his song goes Sitting in Limbo.
