Monte's Guy Federico Mussini

Still hope he or Ellison transfers and the other guy gets 6 minutes a game next year. But I'm no expert.

3rd or preferably 4th guard is perfect role for Mussini. He hits shots like last game he plays, he is not hitting other guys play. I hope Simon is better version of Ellison.

Put another way, you hope that Lovett and Ponds come back. The rest will work itself out.

And Simon plays close to his ranking and pedigree. I have nothing against the fact that he had a hard time finding minutes behind Gabe York, Kadeem Allen, Alonzo Trier and Parker Jackson Cartwright and wanted to play elsewhere. I'd take any of those guys or Rawle or Kobi Simmons over both Fred and Malik as well. ;)

Yea, and I hope Ellison grows 4-5" and is no longer in the guard rotation. I don't like him with the ball when the game is on the line.

This is one of the good things Lavin did was start the recruitment of frederico . Heady player who understands the game and is only
Getting better .

Lavin also recruited Lovett. I believe he may also have been involved with Yakwe although I could be wrong.

.... Interesting that Frederico failed to "pull the trigger" and commit when the TV Announcer was the StJohn's coach.

Half truth. I believe his recruitment was dependent on rysheed Jordan's status and we know how that went.

why_not?

I do not want Mussini to go anywhere, he is a hard working player and is improving on defense. He is a silent weapon when on fire with his 3 pointers, more plays should be ran for him to get open looks.

If you'd have worked Jarvis into that sentence my head might have exploded, really a missed opportunity there.

Is your hatred for Mussini 100 percent non-negotiable, or would you be OK with him as a 8-10 mpg guy next season surrounded by an upgrade in talent?

I heard the same thing, but never understood it. Was Mussini really under the allusion that he was well-suited to be the team's starting pg? I think he would have had a much better freshman year with Rysheed at the point. Even if Sheed stayed and Lovett were eligible, Mussini would have gotten plenty of run last year.

Mussini is fine in the role he is in this year. My issue was with posters that thought he should be more involved.
