Great game between Minnesota and Indiana, nice win for Minnesota and Tubby. Glad to see them win even though it probably means 7 from the Big Ten get in. I would love to have a crowd and atmosphere even close to that at Redmen games. I believe a player on Minny, might have been Mbakwe, said he would pay the school back for his scholarship if they did not make the tourney this year. Happy for him that he is closer to keeping his money. The play in the Big Ten this year has been the best it has in years and they are clearly the cream of the crop of the conferences. They are playing much more exciting basketball than in the past.
 
I think they were in danger of missing tournament, but as of now they are in despite being under .500 in conference. Now I think they steal a spot from another bubbler.
 
Seventh time the # 1 ranked team has lost this season. Crazy stuff. Love college BB.

I keep thinking this is the year that we'll get a brand-new name as champ. I'm going to be super pissed if Duke wins it all.
 
Not like last year when Kentucky just would not lose.

Good game right now in Tennessee, usually I would be rooting for Tennessee since I am a Gator Hater but I want as few teams as possible getting in from the SEC just in case.

I actually think they are a very talented and deep team, they have handled St. Mary's, in my opinion, a quality team quite easily and should have won the Butler game if not for a boneheaded turnover at the end. 3 or 4 seed is too low although a two seed might the right move just in case they are weaker than their record. The problem is who are you going to put as the #1 seeds? Indiana and Florida both lost tonight, Duke is not that great without Kelly , Kansas would have lost last night if not for the refs, etc. Gonzaga will be #1 most likely in the polls next week. Pretty cool.

I think this is their best team they have ever had and were my pick a month ago to make the final four. They have a good chance to be #1 overall next week and I think they are deserving IMO.

Right now I would pick them to win it all in my main pool, but I wouldn't mind seeing them lose to St. Mary's in the WCC final on an utterly horendous call to send them into the tournament pissed off.
 
Despite the loss on the road at MINN., still think Indiana is a # 1 seed.. Zeller had a off game but, was mugged pretty much all night without getting the calls.. Home Court advantage means you get away with mugging the other teams best player and he was.

Jordan Hulls? Man can he shoot it! Lavin needs to realize the 3pt game is important to overall team success and has to think about getting a spot up shooter. And, a PG that will get the ball to the shooter..

Crean is such a great Coach.. He has rebuilt IU in 5 years and last 2 seasons have been excellent. Of course, IU bb is iconic and they get the type of player that know the game and its' fundamentals..Not always the best athletes. Sometimes, you need skilled BB players..

IU moves the ball well and is pleasing to watch..They could still win it all.

The two you mention are not in Hulls Class, look at his career stats..Branch isn't playing much due to injury.. Greene is and has for most of year.. I may have missed it but, has Greene passed to Bourgault once?

Branch's injury demonstrates the need of having more than just 1 PG on your roster.

How many shooters are in Hulls' class? But that wasn't what you initially stated .... You said, Lavin needs spot up shooters, and I gave you two names. Besides, we don't know whether Hooper is in Hulls' class or not, as we've yet to see him suit up.

They obviously feel they need another PG type on the team, hence why they are pursuing Jordan.
