Mike Anderson Press Conference Link

Great to have them here, but Williams looked like he was scared to death up there. Hope Anderson is able to convince all 3 to stay as a decent core - we need a solid foundation to build off in 2019-20 season.
You know that was LJ Heron and Eli Wright, correct?
Um no, I thought it was Williams not Wright. My bad and I guess I should have wore my glasses.

I had to step out of my office a couple of times so I might have missed it but were any questions raised or did he address anything regarding potential Assistant Coaches?

Loved it. "We're gonna pick em up off the bus"
I think Eli had something in his eye that was bothering him.
Hoping that was the case, because it wasn't my first thought. Nonetheless, Coach Anderson seems like a great guy, feeling good about the program right now!

See my post a couple pages back. Borman was in the crowd

Had a guy here doing some work for us and had to step away right at time of press conference. Hopefully, they'll have a replay available of it later on today.

Sounds like it went great!

Damn, I know the feeling, lmao

The good thing about players being at the press conference is that they could have easily went home since school is out.

I love it, too. However, we have heard this many times before in the past from our new hires.

I will believe it when I see it.

In the meantime, I will root for our new coach to be the most successful coach since Coach C. retired.

You can say all you want about an off year or a rebuilding year but as long as we have Heron and Figueroa, I think we’ll be just fine. It would be nice to get Simon back in the fold, but these 2 are difference makers.

Have to think it's safe to say LJ and Heron will be back? Who knows, maybe Simon comes back and Mack as well. Pretty interesting.

I doubt Mack comes back into the mix. Just my gut.

They would not have appeared at the press conference unless they are and plan to remain part of the team. And I sense and trust Mike Anderson will enjoy some 11th hour recruiting success and staff hires.
Of course wait and see. But after a tough week ( weak )
There’s cause for optimism.
Blessings

Zero chance with Mack, Simon doubtful, but latest read seems Greg W and Josh R likely back as well as Heron & Figgy. Not bad considering.

I said this earlier... if LJ comes back, it's worth at least a phone call to the kid. We have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Someone mentioned that he's done. However, has anyone had a girlfriend who broke up with them and they were eventually able to win back? I know I have. But I wouldn't of been able to if I gave up without trying!

No, not bad at all. The cupboard is far from bare here. With the transfers eligible now, this is a pretty decent roster and no reason not to think we should be competitive most games.

And...maybe Earlington can get some play now. Dude can clearly rebound which a blind man could see we desperately needed last year. Considering we chucked up shots from 20-feet-plus like 80% of last year, his lack of playing time always confused me. Williams too.
