Will a dead man walking be able to out recruit LSU?
Thus season is turning out to be worse than I could ever have imagined. I thought the team would get a bid, and maybe win a game in the tourney.
Now, the feeling of dread and hopelessness surrounding the program has filtered down to recruiting. I don't care about it.
We could bring in a recruiting class to rival Kentucky, and I will be waiting for something to go painfully wrong.

I gotta give Willard credit if he is getting looks from National kids like this.
Only thing is they are saying he won't make any visits and will commit this weekend. I don't want a kid committing who didn't visit and I'm just guessing but he didn't visit Hall when he was in HS so while good to be in the convo I don't see it happening.

Prior to this recruit he was getting all local recruits. And as I pointed out he doesn't plan on taking visits so might be a little weird if he pops site unseen. Again I said I'm impressed he is getting in the conversation of national recruits. When he starts pulling in National recruits then yes it wont be a mirage.

The article says that Whitehead contacted him because they are friends. Nothing more. Some read more into that than there might actually be.
Like how IW reached out to a kid that he would never play with because of transfer rules and IW going pro early?
Willard hasn't shown that he can recruit nationally. And he has no recruits in '15 worth mentioning.
I think he'll ride the IW momentum for greener pastures as soon as a better job opens up.
He had a plan and it's working. I doubt he could care less about the future of SH basketball.
