Merrimack was picked to finish first in their conference. They don't have a player over 6'8 on the roster, their 290th in KenPom.

Take care of business with an emphatic confidence building double digit victory. Excited for the season.
 
We better win most if not all of these NC games. Such a weak schedule.

I read the coaches bio. It is very impressive but what stood out to me was the was an assistant coach on the Robert Morris team that beat St. John's in the NIT.
 
Fox Sports 1 has a window of 6:30 to 10:30pm for Monday Nov 7 and the program description states Basketball action from the opening night of the Big East so I guess we won’t be able to see anywhere near our entire game. Perhaps stream on Fox Sports App will provide individual games i their entirety.
 
So who wants to go out on a limb and predict our starting lineup for that game?

Also our non conference schedule isn’t that bad, although I wish we’d swap out Ct St with Iona, Fordham, Marist or the like. Also we should always schedule one top 25 team. FSU, Nebraska, IowaState, and Temple have name value but not the KenPom rating.
 
Posh Jones & Soriano a lock. Given how Anderson
started the 2 exhibitions, I expect Mathis too.
I’d rather go small than start Stanley As 5th.

after that it doesn’t matter, #5-9 will play 15-20 min each.
Hope we have a big early lead. Frankly I’d like to see #5-13 get good time
