McKillp and Cluess

I've been out of Floral Park 30 years. The renowned basket ball mind, Joe Jagde, speaks highly of Cluess. Joe says he can coach defense so that's good enough for me.

Cluess teams beat Cooley teams in the other league. Why would they not beat them here?

Few people know more about basketball than Joe Jagde. Give him 2, 3, 4, or more hours, and he'll expound on almost any basketball subject. Famous line when you are trying to go: "Okay, jsut one more thing..."

Here's the most important thing about Cluess' team's defense: They hold the opponent to less points than they score themselves. Enough for me.

Columbo's got nothing on Joe's wardrobe.

Beast, if Ralph and I can get Joe to the DePaul game we'll have to meet up with you before the game at CA.
 
Bob McK no. Cluess - would take the St. John's in a heartbeat. Don't think it matters though because I don't think he'd be the hire, so you get to keep your coach.

Good, then when they fire the Seton Hall coach let him go to the Pirates.
His teams play no defense and take shots only Phil Greene would love here at St. John's.
This board would crucify him after every loss.
I can see it already: Cluess is clueless, he doesn't have a Cluess, knew we should not have hired the high school coach that never steered players our way, hiring a coach from Iona is like hiring an assistant coach from Manhattan College - successful there but sucks everywhere else, etc.
 
Like I said earlier. Why would these coaches come here to rebuild at this point in their careers? Huge rebuild and the closet will be empty. Need a young, hungry hustler here
