Look the way I see it Mayweather is 40 yrs old he's he is the better boxer but not the toughest that M cgregor If the went in a mma ring Mcgregor would finish him like he was a baby This is all about money Mcgreor will get abut 50 mil Mayeather about 120 mil all this not including endorsements and other things.If Mcgreor can take it deep into the fight and may weather makes a mistake its over But I see Mayweather running all night He ca not knock him out unless he wears him down He is not capable of going toe to toe with him Yes big money is on him But big money was on Sonny liston what Ali shook the world He has a chance slim but its there

I heard the fight isn't even sold out.
Inoki isn't a real fighter and that wasn't a real fight. This one has nothing to do with it. McGregor is a real fighter and regardless of whether overmatched, will go at Mayweather under boxing rules, and it won't be as a fake fighter like Inoki. Gotta give McGregor credit at least. Yes he's going to make huge money, but he was willing to cross the isle and fight in a purely boxing match. No boxer would do the same, except broke James Toney.

I see Mayweather dominating for most of the fight. In the final round, a Macgregor haymaker misses and knocks out the referee. Macgregor's countryman Sheamus comes out of nowhere and clubs Mayweather over the head with the bogus championship belt being offered up for this fight by a made up federation. Or maybe Irish Pat Barrett comes out of retirement and hits Mayweather with a chair. The ref counts out Mayweather.

Yeah something like that. My friend is one of the owners of the Nutty Irishman in farmingdale and he said something like that.It definitely had to do with capacity or something like that. They were charging 40 a head which included open bar. Went there early but no way could I hang there that late and didnt feel like drinking anyway so went home to watch it
LOL. I thought McGregor was a loud mouthed jerk. Then I watched some of the pre-fight at a local sports bar. Guy is an absolute genius. He was articulate and well spoken. The bs is a total act. That same thing goes for Mayweather. At one point (McGregor) was making 60K for an MMA fight. Last night he made himself $30 something million. Mayweather made over $100 million. Not bad for a few hours of work.

A younger, hungrier pro boxer would have rendered Macgregor unconscious in a few minutes. Floyd's age, ring rust and cautious style made him the perfect opponent that allowed Macgregor to create the illusion to non-boxing people that he was competitive. If you followed the live blogs, you would have thought Macgregor was dominating early and in the fight all the way. If I set the rules for this fight, it would be that Mayweather has 10 rounds to knock out Macgregor. If he doesn't, the eleventh round would be one minute long and under MMA rules. That would have been interesting. This, to me, was a spectacle that should not have cost a nickel.
I heard those who pd for paper view enjoyed the fight. But lets understand what happen money was the flame that triggered the encounter ,both walked away winners.
Nom sane person would have thought a fighter with totally diff skill set could not beat a fighter like Mayweather who dances and runs from his opponents most the the time experience won out. Both walk away a lot richer.But lets us not be fooled McGregor is the tougher man Mayweather could not fight him in a MMA ring McGregoe would finish him in seconds
