6'6 210lbs, Boys & Girls HS, Brooklyn, NY- Now prepping at Bridgton Academy

We are showing interest according to Borzello. Saw him play this summer at west 4th, I was impressed.

Espn is showing him as undeclared being recruited by a bunch of mid-majors and currently attending Bridgton Academy with Amir and Darrick.

Yup,http://insider.espn.go.com/college-...g/player/evaluation/_/id/125221/malik-nichols

While not the level of talent we want to bring in, it says he would be good in a system like ours. Also, good to get city kids, and we can add some more depth at the wing position, since we just really have Moe, hopefully Amir, and I see Dom as more of a 3/4. Its amazing, hes the type of recruit that was the ceiling with Norm, now hes just a nice player to have, but getting a guy ranked an 83 on espn to be a 3rd/4th guy off the bench and a nice four year player is not bad by any means, why not?

Did the link not work? I am an insider so maybe I didn't realize it was locked. Says hes 6'6 on that site but can play both forward positions.

If he can shoot a little bit, get him. I love those leftys

Dont really need another SF. Wouldnt mind getting a 2 star 6 10-11 player, that is were we could use another backup.

Can anyone remember the last Boys and Girls player that really panned out and played at an elite level?

If he's a legit 6'6" he can be a backup PF in Lavin's offense -- as long as he is about 215 lbs. and willing to get his nose dirty.

How come Lavin loves to recruit SFs. With Dom,Amir and Mo dont know wky he is after him.

Because Lavin doesn't recruit SF or PF...He recruits wings and he employs 2 to 3 wings on the floor at the same time in an incredibly up tempo system that presses most of the game....You need plenty of wings for this kind of system and who knows how long Amir and Moe are going to be around for anyway

These kind of wings can play anywhere from 2-4 in Lavin's system depending on the matchup and who's on the floor at any given time

GOOD PLAYER ....not to.many in city I woulda took over MALIK NICHOLS ,,can score and goes left ALL DAY but you can't stop it ......GOOD DEFENDER AND REBOUNDS played with Panthers in I.S8 along with AMIR and avg more points and rebounds then AMIR ...#facts

Sounds too similar to what we already have. Our team doesn't need anymore slashers -- it needs players that are capable of making a jump shot from fifteen feet deep.
