RE: The MSG PA Announcer

I just rewatched the Uconn Game and it made me think about a home court advantage.

I love the PA Announcer at the Garden (sadly not John Condon, but good), with the Intros and in-game,

Z ---- U ---- B---- Y----
E --- J --- I --- O --- F --- O --- R ---.
A --- N--- D ---
O---- N---- E----
Etc., etc.,

It creates excitement and gets the crowd going.

I assume during the BET (which I've gone to dozens and dozens of times) we don't get the home town PA Announcer thing? (I can't remember!)

This is the first year the Committee is not counting the BET as "our home court" so all those other years we should have gotten the home town treatment with the Intros and PA Announcer.

I like the flame-thrower thing too, adds to the atmosphere.

Who's going to the Tournament???????

im getting the feeling none of you paying for tickets.... are gonna be sellin em? that right?

I'll be there...I just received a text alerting me that they started charging cards & ticket distribution will follow.
Any idea how the amounts charged on the card translate to seat assignment? Feel like I may have been moved to a worse seat based on the charge this season

I'd like to know at/around how much it costs to be guaranteed a seat to the BET via St. John's?

I know there is some type of rubric of criteria they use...

I'd imagine it ultimately coming down to money, then loyalty.

So how much?

I got the text but never got a charge. Did this occur for anyone else?

The more you are charged, the better the seat! Believe you were given the opportunity to select the seats you wanted, none of which were spectacular. I'm just waiting to get my seats so can sell for non-St. John's games.

Based on that looks like I got tier 3, even though I asked for tier 1.

I'm assuming that's for every session? That's pretty good
