Lunardi's 2014 Bracketology

Next season this team will have to prove it on the Court to get to the NCAA ..Their press clippings, last season's honors mean nothing.

I think Lunardi, like many of us, are waiting to see if this edition of the Johnnies can get it done..

But still, last four out???
With a grown up Harrison, a Sanchez present, without the injury to Branch and (whatever other factor came up short over maybe like having God's Gift playing) - we would have had a shot at the tourney this year!
WIth Sanchez, perhaps Harrison, Jordan, Hopper and an extra year and European travel under their collective belts, I find it hard to believe we won't be solidly in the NCAA let alone "last four out".

I think Lunardi is among the last four missing out on 2014.

;) ;) ;)

all the best

I agree Westchester, maybe we should email this bracket to the team so they can have some bulletin board material for the off season. On a lighter note, if Lunardi is right, so much for the mighty ACC, I count only 6 teams from that Super Conference lol.

SORRY for the daily double - didn't now how to erase one of the duplicates - "my bad" as my son says

Silly at this point but what else do we have to talk about. On the plus side 70% of the conference within the bracket or last 4 out. Only Butler, Depaul and Seton Hall get no mention.

We were right around the first 4 out and a bubble team before DLO got suspended. We ll be a year older w everyone back except Amir w the addition of Sanchez and Jorden. Doesn't make sense. Of course well have to get the job done on the court.

It's too early, as mentioned by austour, but I also do not think it makes sense, richard (since we were on the 'bubble' with a couple of weeks left in the regular season). Harrison will return, as well, as adding Sanchez, Gift, Jordan, and Hooper to the mix (we may not exactly be done with the '13 class).

I feel good about our prospects in '13-'14.

Top big east team is Marquette? 6 seed not much love for the new conference.

That remains to be seen. Vander Blue announced today he is leaving for the NBA. The kid really improved but could have used another season of Big East ball, just my opinion.

Joe Lunardi did his first bracketology for the 2013-2014 season. According to him, we DO NOT make the dance. We are listed in the "First Four Out" category. He also has 9 teams making it from the Big East, but it doesn't say if it's the new big east or old one.

Apparently his expectations for us are not as high as some of the posters on this board....

We may be first four out right now but we have about 33 games ti improve our lot. :)
