Roberts looks like a really good pick-up, but he's likely not a high impact freshman.
190 nice! Has about 20 pounds on Owens then.
Owens was listed at 205 lbs. and is 3 inches taller. They're equally skinny. Owens' game obviously much more developed at this point.
Owens just had issues gaining weight, hopefully Roberts doesnt have that problem. 6'8"/200 lbs is pretty normal for a freshman he should be able to gain a few pounds of muscle in the next 6-7 months if he puts in the work. Ready or not he will play some back up minutes. If he has to play 10 minutes a game he will be fine, he might be inconsistent but I know there will be games where he will play well. I do agree that an injury to Keita will suck but it wont ruin us, we played plenty of games with Clark at the 5 and now we have better guards and wings so we should be able to hold it down until he could get back. If Ponds comes back we are good, we can compete with the roster we have. This whole trying to divide the board into two sides is just silly by the way. There are positives and negatives in the program right now, its not all good or bad so just understand that and stop with the whole one side or the other BS.

If that wasn't dramatic I shudder to think what Dramatic Dink sounds like. Not questioning your questioning of who deleted your posts, just the superfluous colorful language, which is what I think WASJU was referring to as well.
Again, if you truly knew the deal, then you may better understand where I'm coming from. If you don't know (which, I highly doubt the two of you do), then you simply won't understand. I'm not gonna derail this thread much longer, but I can explain much better off the thread.
Dink,
Speaking from personal experience it really doesn't matter which mod deleted your posts. Any of mine that were deleted contained language that clearly was ranking out the poster I was debating with so I expected editing or deletion. We all sometimes get too personal on the site so I would just let Paul deal with it as he indicated to me recently when I complained about a similar situation. If it was Paul, he is the owner of the site and has final say regardless.
I don't want to blame any of the current mods so my guess is that Moose did it. :p :)

Every thread ends up being highjacked. You just have to read around it.
Amazing how this thread devolved from a really positive article to The Hunger Games
We dealt with the Figueroa positives when we all welcomed him aboard. After that, given our penchant for digression, the thread should have been locked. Now it's open mic night at the Laugh Factory. At this point I wouldn't expect any more meaningful contributions to the signing of a player that is a mystery to most of us.
I never saw the Hunger Games so feel free to describe it here in great detail.

I love that Mexican film!
Was there any back seat driving in the Hunger Games?
