LETSSSSS GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Double F! Thought Rangers won, goal disallowed by high stick then Rangers lose. Told a friend I had a bad feeling even when they were up late.

Rangers lining up for a 1960 Yankee like loss in this series, pretty clearly the superior team everywhere but the scoreboard.

Local talking heads were all maintaining that Rangers were the better team. Not so as evidenced by Ottawa winning 2 of 3 regular season games and 4 of six in this series which means Ottawa was 6-3 overall vs Rangers and finished with basically the same amount of points in the regular season. Also Ranger power play was horrendous in playoffs at 7.8% and Lunquist did not play that well. Face it we lost, we are not the better team and that holds true even if Ottawa gets swept in next series.

see ya in october rangers

Blow it all up. Keep coach and Hank. Disgusting effort. Kreider walks around NYC as if he owns this town, he hasn't won jack s***. Comes off more and more as a punk to me. Nothing but a loser.

I'd start looking at maybe Raanta as the starting goalie. Hank did not look good in many games this year, his reflexes is slowing down, he'll be 36 next year.

Is he to proud to be a backup though?

Finally, thank god for Mark Mes-si-er and his promise to deliver the Rangers a cup, it took us to get the Edmonton guys that won the consecutive cups in the 80s, to get us the cup in 94. If not for them we'd be looking at 77 years, and still hearing those 1940 chants.

Keep AV? Lol
He can't get them over the hump. Same as his time in Vancouver. He's a country club coach. Need a hard ass

Yep, it's the coaches fault that they can't hold leads in the final minutes, give me a f'ing break.
IF THEY COULD THEN WE'D BE PLAYING PITT, AND NOT OTTAWA. Then everyone would be saying oh what a good coach he is.

Just get sick of people talking shit, it's always the coaches fault, and never the players.
That's a joke. He must have a good game plan if we have the lead after 55minutes, then it's up to the players to protect the damn lead.
And I'll say it and yes I'm a big LKundqvist fan.
He gets alot of the blame as well, giving up alot of goals he should have stopped.
Look to playing Raanta alittle more next year.

Guy, the dude is horrible at deploying players. You can't have Tanner Glass, Nick Holden and Marc Staal out there when the game is on the line.

He benched a god damn playmaker like Buch because of his love affair of "gritty' Tanner Glass. Clendening spent the entire year in the press box when lesser players were getting minutes bc this coach is a joke.

AV said Zibanajad is at a "crossroads" and "needs to figure it out" right after he led the team in points in the postseason.

Our coach is straight up blind.

Also here is some Lundqvist reading for ya

We are wasting the prime of the greatest goaltender this franchise will ever see.

Truth is we think we know our team so good, but I doubt any of us know any better then the coach of the Rangers.

And dude we're wasting "Lundqvist prime" he's 35, and in a lot of games this year he looked like shit.

Up until last year his worst GAA was 2.38 (09-10 season), last year it was at 2.48, this yeah it went up to 2.74, 2 years ago it was at 2.25.
So from 2.25, to 2.48, to this year 2.74. Hey, old age catches up to everyone, it sucks but that's life. With age your reflexes to too.
Gotta start Raanta more next year, Plus, Henrik will be 36.

knowing more than the coaches do is the norm here. And to be completely forthcoming, I can be as guilty as the next guy, mostly with Terry Collins.

TC and AV are the two worst pro coaches in the town bar none.

AV holds grudges and misuses his players. I know they have Staal and Girardi under long term cap hits, fine they have to play bc of that. But not in crunch time. Glass is an AHL player at best. Holden and Klein are awful and Clendening is at best a good defensemen, not saying he is great is sitting in the press box.

And there is no reason to over exert Lundqvist in the regular season, Raanta is a good backup, Rangs always have a good backup. But to say or imply that Lundqvist was bad this post season is insane. We have a shitty coach and a shitty defense.

I'll be first to say AV misused players in the series. Still trying to figure out why Skjei was benched in the final minutes of most games when he's probably their 2nd best d-man. But to be fair, AV wasn't the one who gave huge long-term contracts to Girardi and Staal, who were liabilities the entire season.

Also, there's a good chance Raanta might go in the expansion draft. So no guarantee he's here next season.
