This was the most important thing to me, that we outnumbered the UCANT fans by a huge margin. This was the best ratio of SJU/UCANT fans that I can remember in many years. It used to be red down low and all blue covering the middle and upper levels. SJU is clearly on the rise and UCANT's fans are frontrunners that didn't feel like showing up for a mediocre team. I can't wait until we can sell out the Garden with mostly our fans.

Only thing with new Garden I've found is you really can't tell whats behind you if your sitting the 100's. Maybe behind the benches up in the 200's was less than what I saw on the other side. That number seems real low to me.

First, my quote and, I thought, the first couple over/under 10K quotes were about the GTown game in response to someone who thought that IF 8K showed up it would be STJ's best crowd of the year.

Second, there's a big difference between 8,441 reported and 10K last night but that's a good question about the 2fers.
