Two very interesting ball handlers Coach is being VERY active on… either would provide excellent depth with one being a legit difference maker. Would imagine it wont drag out for too long

Told it's uncertain if St. John's will its final scholarship. Could use another ball-handler, but roster is pretty full at the moment.
 
We and I thought we might be done.  Fill the stables!!!!  Assuming the difference-maker still may be Alvarado?  Certainly interesting.

Initial thought is to stash the final ship. But if a one year player is available and he fits the culture of the team I take it and go for broke and hope wins translates to interest for future classes. 
 
The kid Cedric Russell of Louisiana intrigues me.  Sun Belt is a good mid major conference and he was a really good player as he was All-Conference.  This would be his last year.  Also would be a straight up trade, him for Greg Williams Jr.

But even more important than that is 2022 and 2023.  Need to use some of this momentum and the coming July Evaluation periods to begin to land some top 100 quality kids.  They are going to have a lot of spots in 2022.

I have a feeling (could be wrong) or would love to believe we're in the mix with Shackelford from Alabama. Maybe i'm dreaming.
 
I think Zack is right in that  they won’t fill it for the sake of filling it… either kid however would no doubt be a key contributor

Don't think so. Showed interest in UCLA but they may be out of schoolies but a return to west coast (HS) more likely.

Agree.  I’ll add that we are in the camp of having to win “now”, not worry about other things.  It’s a big year for Anderson to make a big splash in the Big East and maybe nationally to really show something and build our brand forward.  Pocketing ships is great but we really don’t need to.  Plenty opening up for 2022 and we need to enter this season ready to win.  If we can land a big contributor, we should try to do so.  We play a lot of guys.  Plenty will get solid minutes and the young guys can come along at  a reasonable pace and be ready for when we lose quite a few in 2022.
