Watch the ladies tonight and cheer them on to victory
How sweet would it be to beat the Lady Vols on their home court?
 
One of the biggest games in the history of the program. In 2012 we beat Uconn to end a huge winning streak and we won in the round of 32 to make the sweet 16. Should we win tonight the win would be on a par with those games.

22-13 Lady Volunteers with 10:37 left in the first half.
Briana and Eugenia each with 2 fouls in the first 9 minutes. However Volunteers also with a few fouls.
 
23-17 for the Lady Volunteers. Amber and Aliyyah with back to back buckets to bring us within 6.
However Keylsntra picked up her second foul also.
Keep it up ladies.
 
23-20 Lady Volunteers as Denijah hits a 3 for her first basket in two games. Let's hope she can go for 25 today to make up for her poor showing against USC (lol). 7 straight points for the ladies to get it down to 3.
 
28-24 Lady Volunteers as we have a game here with 6 minutes left in the first half. super Aliyyah with 12 leading the way. Jade Walker with 4 off the bench and a couple of rebounds and key assists.
 
32-26 Lady Vols with 4:32 to go. Super Aliyyah with 14 and 3 Volunteer starters with 2 fouls apiece. I don't know how deep they are but I believe we are missing Sandra Odobi who normally would have played by this point in the game.
Well we are giving them a game so far.
 
looked like they might get blown out but they played tough and hit a nice three at the buzzer to cut it to down 4 at halftime.
 
39-35 Lady Vols at the half.
Little Aaliyah with a 3 pointer with 1 second left on the shot clock to bring is within 4. Bad part is 5 SJU players wiyh 2 fouls each. We must be very carefull in the second half and avoid all cheap fouls.
 
2 free throws for super Aliyyah to tie the game at 39 with under 17 to play.
Demijohn and Briana with 3 fouls each. However 2 lady Vol starters also have 3 fouls.

Super Aliyyah with 20 as we are down by 2 with 11 minutes to play. However 4 Sju players have 3 fouls each. Not good. Joe has played 9 players so far, everyone except Mallory Jones and Sandra who I assume is injured.

getting out of hand.
Not 1 basket tonight amongst our 3 seniors Briana, Eugenia and Keylantra. They all must step up right this second if we are to have a chance.
