Kudos Posh

Posh is a beast defensively but hey you guys already know. Just a what if though..... if Posh shoots 35% or better from distance, could that make him a draft pick or at least an NBA prospect? I think so.
Doubt it at his size, but hope so

Up from DC for the weekend, and brought my girls to the event today, which was great overall. With that said, what impressed me most was Posh walking up to the three of us. He initiated shaking my hand, took a picture with my daughters, and then walked up to me to shake my hand again. SJU couldn’t ask for a better ambassador for the team, or for the University itself. What an impressive and mature kid.

Big East Defensive Player of the Year Watchlist

#2 Posh Alexander, St John’s

Now going into his 3rd season with St John’s, Posh Alexander has already put up some impressive defensive numbers. Alexander has led the conference for the last two years in steals- and it hasn’t been close. Posh’s one-of-a-kind ability to pressure ballhandlers, disrupt passing lanes and create turnovers makes him a nightmare for opposing point guards. Now the leader of Coach Anderson’s “havoc defense,” Posh will look to set the pace for a Johnnies team with a lot of new guard talent.

Strengths-

Pressuring ballhandlers

Disrupting Passing Lanes

Forcing turnovers

QUEENS, N.Y. (Nov. 15, 2022) – St. John’s junior guard Posh Alexander has been named to the Top 50 Watch List for the John R. Wooden Award, presented to the nation’s top player, it was announced this afternoon on ESPN’s SportsCenter and ESPN.com.
