Kevin Garnett and SJU - Hypothetical

 Joneill, don't take offense and keep posting. I thought it was an interesting read. Not probable, but interesting. Some posters on this board try to be funny and its taken the wrong way. don't be offended.

It is not as farfetched as some on this board think. I remember Willis Reed taking a Volunteer Assistants position on Coach Carnesecca's staff after he retired from the Knicks. I also don't understand why people are attacked and called names for suggesting something that may be out of the ordinary.
As for what Garnett would bring to the table, who does not believe that he could help Gift, Chris, Jakarr and other big men. As far as what kind of person Garnett is, I don't think that anyone on this board knows him well enough or has interacted with him personally to pass judgment.

People need to lighten up on here a little, he stated many times it was extremely unlikely, and the title says hypothetical.  

Garnett: "Malik had me wanting to go to St. John's, and wear the red and be a Redman."

 

Garnett was ticketed for Michigan if he went to any school.

I recall Garnett mentioning that St. John's was one of the first schools to really recruit him. But no, I don't see it happening.
