Keeping Up With Old Friends Thread

BTW

Shamorie Ponds and Lance Stephenson (!!!) are playing with the Sean Bell All-Stars at Nike Pro City this summer. I watched them last night at LIU. Their team lost to a team that featured Jose Perez, our own Aaron Wheeler (not much of an impact), and Isaiah Washington. Was a fun game, will be checking out more games this summer.

But as an all around baskteball player and warrior D'angelo blows Shamorie away.
Warrior sure. But I don’t know how you could be so confident in all around player. No question in my mind who the better scorer and passer was, and scoring was what D’lo did best.

Shamorie certainly had more next level potential than D'Lo for sure. But clutch player, will to win and better teammate still D'Lo.
I’d bet ponds had more late game clutch plays than Dlo. Duke butler vcu off the top of my head. Dlo had his share too. At Cincy comes to mind.

Regardless, I think those are fantastic characteristics and no doubt Dlo had them, but in terms of basketball ability I would go Ponds.
