Keeping Up With Old Friends Thread

Perhaps some fans hsven’t followed RJ this summer with the Jazz Summer League team .
Bad luck for him as he had a knee injury and didn’t play a Game all summer .

Tough on him , he could have used the play to show he might belong on the Jazz roster . Didn’t happen unfortunately .

Hope he bounces back from the injury and gets a chance to show what he’s got . As he pursues his Dream .

Good luck to him . He could use some right now .

I love this post. Shows it’s not always about wins and losses (at least with the players) but about human connections. DJ is one of my all time favorites and if he respects Norm that’s enough for me/
Very well said, the occasional but recurring put downs of a very decent man who had the audacity to give it his best shot and not win is IMO one of the real genuine low points of this board and a very classless reflection on those posters who keep the criticisms alive after all these years.

I have been a lifelong basketball fan who was never talented enough to play beyond CYO and intramurals but was pretty successful in corporate America.
While I have worked for and with wonderful leaders and successful dirtbags, always appreciated those good hearted souls who were in over their heads but had best intentions which to me was Norm.
