Keeping Up With Old Friends Thread

Everyone has a Dream . Daniss included .

You know , often times it isn’t whether a Player has the ability to play in the NBA but , other factors , like Contracts to the 1 st and 2 nd Round draftees and team needs are considerations as well .

Also too , especially for undrafted players like Jenkins and Champagne , it’s luck to latch onto a team that will give you a shot .

Julian got lucky with the Spurs and made the most of it . Maybe Daniss will as well .

RJ might get lucky too . Since he’s opted to stay in the draft,. I have seen some speculation he might get into mid to late 2 nd round .

Let’s root him onward for his Dream .

All true and as long as you can stay on a 2 way contract I'm all for chasing the dream. It' ain't NBA money but it's over $500K and that ain't too bad. Once you drop to standard G league it's time to get a passport.

That said once some of these guys leave school I honestly don't find myself too connected to their future successes. Could be because I'm not an NBA fan, could be because I'm not an alum, could be because I'm getting old and nasty, could be because in the case of these two while I celebrated their successes I didn't like either of their games, who knows. For some reason the one guy in the last 10-15 years I found myself following post STJ was Jakarr.
