Back in the day, when then Alumni Hall was available, it was not uncommon for current and former players along with players from the area who played at other schools (including a rival or two) to play pick up ball in the summer.

I remember in the summer of 2002 I went to Alumni Hall to look to shoot around or play pickup ball. And I always check the court before going down. I see the 2001/2002 team playing against Hatten and Artest (with his USA Select jersey), anongst others. I recall Hatten was schooling Cook. I just sat down and watched for 30 min. It was so cool. Then I went back to studying.
