St. John’s Alumnus Keegan Bradley Wins Travelers Championship
Bradley wins Travelers Championship for the second time in the last three years
CROMWELL, Conn. (June 22, 2025) – St. John’s alumnus
Keegan Bradley orchestrated a furious comeback in the late stages on Sunday to win the 2025 Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn.
Bradley rallied back from a three-stroke deficit with four holes to play to sink a birdie putt to take home the tournament championship by carding a 15-under, 265. The Woodstock, Vt., native dropped a six-footer to birdie the 18th hole to outlast Tommy Fleetwood in the final round. The 2008 St. John’s graduate shot 64-70-63-68 to win the $3.6 million dollar grand prize.
The 2025 U.S. Ryder Captain captures his seventh PGA Tour victory his career and second Travelers Championship after logging a 20-under, 257, to finish atop the leaderboard in 2023. Last summer, Bradley was named the United States Captain for the Ryder Cup which will be held nearby St. John’s campus at Bethpage State Park Black Course on Sept. 26-28 in Farmingdale, N.Y.
Bradley starred for St. John’s from 2004-08, totaling nine individual victories during his career, which ranks second-best in program history. The Woodstock, Vt., native finished no lower than ninth at the BIG EAST Championship and earned an at-large bid to NCAA Regionals during his senior year Bradley was enshrined into the St. John's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2020.
