Keegan Bradley Golf

Oh my is absolutely right
Keegan shot an 80 on Sunday to finish +4 and tied for 43rd place
Very disappointing finish for Keegan

7 bogies, a double bogey and a triple bogey, and 2 birdies. 10 over par. A truly horrible round.

Before yesterday's round it looked like he was going to play himself into Atlanta. Now he has some serious work to do to get to East Lake but if he does it this season would have to be deemed a relative success. But even if he doesn't he's assured himself a card and made over $1.8 mill this year. What's astounding is that that's what relative journeyman are making nowadays on the tour. Thanks Tiger!

Keegan tees off at 8:39 tomorrow at the Dell Tech Open

Terrible 1st round, 5 over par 76
-4 bogeys, a double bogey, a triple bogey, 2 birdies and an eagle.

KB with a good rebound in round 2. Three under 68; 5 birdies, 2 bogeys.

Still has an outside shot at Atlanta. Would probably have to finish in top 10 or even better at the BMW to get there.

Not nice enough. Season over. Needed a top 4 finish to qualify for the tour championshiP.

Pat Perez cruises to a four-shot victory at CIMB
Pat Perez proved Sunday that, on a PGA TOUR dominated by lithe, young superstars with physiques crafted in the gym and enough clubhead speed to overheat a TrackMan, there is still room for a 41-year-old who prefers late nights with a beer (or a few) over early-morning workouts.

He shot 24-under 264 at this week’s CIMB Classic to win by four shots over Keegan Bradley and finish seven shots ahead of Sung Kang and the reigning Rookie of the Year, Xander Schauffele. Perez started his 17th PGA TOUR season with the third win of his career, and his second in the past 11 months.

Nice finish in this tourney in this 2nd event of the new PGA 2017-18 Season.

Bradley Motivated Again
By Tim Rosaforte

A familiar face on my TV screen in the middle of the night last week from Kuala Lampur, playing the type of golf he did when he was winning the 2011 PGA Championship in his major debut and backing it up with a WGC-Bridgestone victory in 2012.
Five winless years later, Keegan Bradley is 31 years old and expecting his first child with wife Jillian next month.
The kid from St. John’s who partnered with Phil Mickelson in a high-energy Ryder Cup performance at Medinah is at different stage of his life and career than some of the younger guys who are his neighbors in the Jupiter corridor. But that doesn’t mean his desire has waned.

Besides the incoming baby, there are two other recent motivations that led to Bradley to shooting 20 under at the CIMB Classic for a second place showing behind runaway winner Pat Perez.

Coming off his best finish since the 2014 Arnold Palmer Invitational, Bradley told me while boarding a charter to South Korea for this week’s CJ Cup that he wants to start making Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup teams again.

He and Mickelson chat about what it’s like. He wants to feel some of that team energy, too. Moreover, there was the impressive win by best friend Brendan Steele in the Safeway Open, a performance that had Keegan glued to the television after a missed cut. “He played flawlessly,” Bradley said. “I’ve never seen him play better. He brought a new level to his game and any time you see a friend you play with a lot playing like that, it only gives you motivation. You know you can do it as well.”

Closed out 7 over par for the tourney. Tough week for Keegan.
