Was at Keegan's golf outing to support pediatric cancer research yesterday in Woodstock, Vermont.

Perfect day. Course was in great condition.

In addition to KB, Brendan Steele and Jon Curran put on a clinic before the shotgun began.

"Pepsi" was also at the event as was KB's entire family.

About 8 SJU grads made the trip.

Coach Darby was also there and it was great to see him.

Great fun. Will try to attend again next year.

Over $110,000 was raised for a great cause.

He mentioned that the year isn't going as planned but he said he has learned a lot about himself and has grown as a person.

In addition, Keegan spoke at length at the reception (post golf) and talked about his efforts to raise money for pediatric cancer research as well all the people that helped him to become the person he is today.

He was very eloquent (as was his girlfriend, who also spoke) and made me proud to be a St. John's grad.

Got to give him lots of credit for using his notoriety to do good for his community.

Wonder if the adjustment from the long putter is an issue

No one switches to a long putter because they're a good putter. Just saying. It'll be interesting to see how guys like Keegan and Tim Clark, and even top golfers like Adam Scott, respond to switching back to real putters.

Nah, girlfriends don't affect play that much. Kids? That's another story.

I didn't see him the short amount I watched. Was he still using the anchored putter or is he prepared for the ban effective Jan 1?

He has been using the conventional putter the last 3-4 tournaments that I have seen him in.

Keegan # 40 for The Year 2015

$2.2 million on course

$3.7 million off course (endorsements, appearance fees, corporate outings, speaking fees)

$5.9 million total

That's wacky. At first I thought he might have forgotten to take out the long putter.

Keegan fell out of contention with a 73 on Saturday but, still can get a nice paycheck with a good finish on Sunday. He needs a win on Tour this Year to stay even with buddy, Dufner.

hope all the bad blood is over between him and the School? We can use his support and loyalty as we begin our rebirth in BB under Mullin.

Next Year!

Masters time - Keegan is paired with Brandt Snedeker and Kiradech Aphibarnrat (who?).

Tees off at noon on Thurs and 9.04 on Fri.

Can Spieth keep a-rolling?
