Keegan Bradley at The Masters

Being picked along with Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy as one of the favorites. Couple of reasons are that he is a great driver of the ball and hits his irons high. Lack of experience on Augusta'a greens could be negated due to his uncanny ability of being a real quick learner. Phil Mickelson is his mentor and has given him some great insight into the nuances around the course. Sure Phil didn't tell him everything though. Keegan has been preparing for The Masters since last year. Media loves him and should be a great interview today. For fans, download the free Masters app or follow on computer @ Masters.com. He is always so positive when he speaks about SJU.

He also came back and spoke to our teams.

And he gave pep talks to the guys on our golf team.

Makes me proud. I root for him all the time, because of the above, even though I don’t golf.
 
Would love, come Sunday, to have Keegan, Tiger and Phil in contention to win it. And have Keegan win it all; if not him, then Phil!

Why don’t more of our illustrious Alum promote the school as much as this great kid from Vermont?
 
My wife and I followed KB today. Spoke with his father and uncle for a few minutes. Both spoke of Keegan's love for St. John's. Initially, his father said they thought that a school like UGA might be a good place for KB to go to school but he said it turned out that St. John's was the perfect fit for him and that going there was a great decision. Keegan's mom and Aunt Pat, as I'm sure you are aware, were also following Keegan as were several relatives wearing Keegan's Klan buttons.

Was told that Keegan is going to make a major gift for the establishment of a Golf Center at St. John's.


Also under the category of "a small world", met a person on the shuttle bus this morning who has a son who is a freshman at St. John's.

A wonderful alum who is giving back to his school. Hopefully we produce some more golf pros. Big Keegan Bradley fan. A true Redman!
 
The wheels came off quickly Saturday for Keegan at the Masters. He's currently 6 over today and 8 over for the tourney..

Go get'em in the US OPEN, KEEGAN.
 
Tough day for Keegan as he shot an 82 and is 12 over. Hey at least Tiger remains consistent, cheating on the course as he did on his former wife. Dont worry Lindsay, it will never happen to you. :)
 
It's just great that KEEGAN has become one of the best golfers in the World, even with his tough Masters round.

Whenever he's in contention, most of the announcers, Nantz, in particular make mention of St John's as his alma mater.
 
Latest Golf Digest magazine (Picture of Holly Sonders on the cover) features a story, "It's Your Year To Drive It Great", by Keegan.

Story is about improving distance and accuracy.
