JORDAN OUT tonight-sick

In the 45years following SJU b&b I cannot recal a player missing as many games as Jordan. It's either his mother, his immaturity, his aunt, his health. Like I said too much baggage for me! I am tired of this country club environment that Lavin is fostering here. If this kid would opt for the draft now, I could care less! We need to recruit kids that would give their left nut to play Div 1 basketball, not these primadonnas!

I can agree you can be too sick to play but than you figure he would be home in bed under the covers sipping tea. Instead he is on the bench in street clothes and doesn't look very sick. Guess he would not be able to bark out all the plays we run on offense.

Something is very wrong here. I know it's a full moon but seriously. I am not quite sure what you are referring to by his immaturity because that is the one thing you mentioned that is something in his control, however, he is only 17-18 years old so even that is not exactly in his control just yet. How one controls tonsillitis, his aunt being shot, a sick mother, etc. is beyond me. Get a grip, when he is on the floor he gives it his all and plays with a chip on his shoulder.
 
I do think something is up. He looked fine. It's hard to believe he couldn't play. My guess is team violation, has a cold, and they decided not to "pile on" by releasing to the media that it was a punishment.

By the way.....if that's what happened (and it happens all the time in college sports) I am fine with it.

How about he found out his pet pup of many years died from natural causes, and that is why he sat?
