Great news! Based on the first two exhibition games, he’s going to be absolutely critical for us. We absolutely need a go to scorer.Don't want to say too much but Jordan will be ready opening night and shouldn't be lingering. The Pace situation highlighted his importance...he's a go to guy who can get a bucket when things stall.

Should be enough scoring with Soriano, Dingle, Luis, Ledlum, Jenkins, Alleyne, and Taylor. It’s the defense that is more of a concern and hopefully gels before conference play.I would expect that Jordan’s value to this team will be as high as any player in the conference if not the country will be to their respective teams.
There is nothing remotely close to another alpha scorer on the roster. Next year a lot of the younger guys can take a step forward in that department, but Jordan is on an island this year.
We have Conference games in December and think we will still be a work in progress but getting a lot closer.Should be enough scoring with Soriano, Dingle, Luis, Ledlum, Jenkins, Alleyne, and Taylor. It’s the defense that is more of a concern and hopefully gels before conference play.
This team will go as far as the Seniors take them. When your Sr. core is Soriano, Dingle, Jenkins, Alleyne and Ledlum you should have enough fire power that at minimum 3 show up each night. That alone with the other younger core players Wilcher, Luis, Taylor should be a recipe for success.
Scoring will be a big issue without Dingle. Shooting will be an issue several games even with Dingle I suspect.Should be enough scoring with Soriano, Dingle, Luis, Ledlum, Jenkins, Alleyne, and Taylor. It’s the defense that is more of a concern and hopefully gels before conference play.
Most of these kids have played at the D1 level AND several have averaged in double figures. Sure it’s not BE level but it is D1. Scoring should not be a huge issue. I am a little perplexed by the poor shooting in the exhibitions. RP specifically recruits based on that skill. Probably should wait until we see real games with a full healthy team.Scoring will be a big issue without Dingle. Shooting will be an issue several games even with Dingle I suspect .
I don’t understand why shooting should be an issue. On paper, this is the best shooting team we’ve had in years.
Agree. We'll have a much better idea after the Charleston tourney (5 real games) as to what we have. I expect guys like Luis and Taylor will be able to get to the line and make their foul shots, Dingle, Alleyne & Dunlap all will be able to shoot it from outside, Ledlum & Joel able to score consistently down low and Daniss to run the show and score as needed. I do think people are trying to draw too many conclusions on “exhibitions”. Of course that’s all we have to look at until they play real games.
That’s not true. 21-22 team had:Scoring will be a big issue without Dingle. Shooting will be an issue several games even with Dingle I suspect .
