it is a complicated equation. The NCAA sends units worth more each round of advancement to the conference. A team winning the championship gets 6 units. The Big East then takes a % themselves for operating expenses, like the mob, and then sends the remaining money to each school based on if they made the tourney (they get more) . Im not sure if there is any disbursement from the women’s tourney.
