John Severe Suspended

Because he's a local. But you're right it's a bad comparison. Severe's 3pt stats were about the same but worse than AJ English, far better comparison. English even shot more. Also Kellen Dunham is an apt comparison from a volume and percentage standing, he didn't necessarily strike fear in the BE last year. Interesting bit of trivia. Of all the players who made 2.5 or more 3 pt attempts per game in D1 last year Severe had the worst percentage.

I know one place Arbitello would want him.........oh wait.

Arbitello is pompous and disrespectful. He also sucks as a teacher. Then again the standards at CTK border those of your average PSAL school with tuition.

FWIW:
@SammyAlbano: Suspended @FordhamBball by #jesuitgigilo #JohnSevere handlers making inquiries about interest by other schools as transfer destination.

Sweet.

Not real surprising. Someone very close to Fordham staff told me last year they had had enough of his attitude and chucking.
Not a surprise. Build someone up into a savior, and then when he tries to save you, toss him off the leaking boat. #FULife

Tuition for some.

If Severe wants to transfer to another four year school he will need to get a release from Fordham. While I am sure they will give him a release, there are three local schools I think that they will stipulate he can't play for; St. John's, Manhattan and Iona.

Is it legal to stipulate that a player can´t play for specific teams?

Didn't this happen with Antoine Mason also? Where he couldn't play for SJU much to the chagrin of Marillac.

Yes. 98% of the time though, most coaches keep that list to all teams within their own conference.

True, but sometimes they include potential non-conference teams. When Jio Fontan was looking for his release to transfer from Fordham, he received a list of several schools they wouldn't allow him to play for including several local schools. He wound up at USC where he had a nice career.

@AdamZagoria: Jon Severe should make his season debut today for Fordham at Penn State after getting suspended for team rules, source tells @SNYtv

Thinking about tuning in to that game. Interested to see if rams can hang around with a lower level big east team. Also want to see severe play

0 points, 3 TOs in his return as part of TomPecora's ten year turn around plan. PSU beat them soundly.

They looked horrible right out of the gate. Severe didn't start and didn't play till almost 8:00 in to game.

I think this is where b. Hurley is going to end up...unless ub wins big this year then he goes to a big conference

I prefer Bobby over Danny for us, they ran some nice stuff against UK today.

2pts, 3 TOs, 11 minutes in loss to Md. Assuming he was not injured & PT was limited, I see this relationship headed south.
