Is this an 11-7 or 8-10 Conference team?

Unfortunately with a gun to my head I am going with 9-9 and needing a win in BET to make Tourney.

Hate to agree with that but I think so also. That's what makes tomorrow so essential to the season. Lose and we face a must win game on a team that will not be a patsy on their home court. Lose there and the Villanova game becomes a monumental must win with long odds against it. It's kind of like a reverse domino effect with each succeeding game becoming more difficult if we lose.

Win tomorrow, and I think we swamp Marquette and go into Nova with a full head of steam.

Agree completely Beast. Tomorrow is huge. Momentum game!

It is funny but actually Marquette game is biggest of season, no matter what happens tomorrow.

If we win tomorrow, Marquette win would put us in tourney no matter what IMO. A loss however would wipe out Gtown game and put us right back in the position of needing another tougher win.

If we do lose tomorrow, following that with a Marquette loss would basically finish us.

Regardless one game at a time and lets try and get tomorrow.

I just get the feeling that we are on the precipice. Yea, I know all the possibilities of getting into the tourney and that we are capable of beating all three teams, but a Gtown win can make that road all downhill, a loss will put huge pressure on us.

Agree, and losing tomorrow, puts the Marquette as a must win game, because winning at[strike] ISIS [/strike] Villanova on their senior's last home game will be an extremely difficult task.

Marquette isnt good, but they are pesky and very dangerous, although theyve gotten waxed a few times on their home court...i think WoJo will have them ready to play....

A couple of things may play on our favor for the Nova game: Villanova actually had their Senior Day a couple days ago, and also they'll wrap up the regular season conference title before we play them. So in essence, the only thing theyll likely be playing for at that point is NCAA seeding. I think this gives us a chance to steal that one.

In terms of which record we finish with, I think we'll finish at 9-9 or 10-8. I dont see us sweeping the next 3 or losing the next 3. However if we finish at 9-9 I think itll be really important, even if Lunardi has us on right side of the bubble, to win a game in big east tourny. If we finish 9-9 and lose a game in the Big East tourny, that would likely mean we wouldv'e lost 3 of our last 4 games, which is a bad look for a bubble team.

I agree with this completely. Win tomorrow and a loss at Marquette is a really bad loss. Obviously one at a time, but the Marquette game is huge, and a can't lose game.
