Before my time but I do seem to recall some odd situation where Magic Johnson was playing PG on offense and C on defense.

I was on the fence . But I say its time for a new coach, now. This is becoming embarrassing. Lavin always made us swet during spring time, but we knew who was on the radar. 0 recruits, 1 prospect who we know of , who is raw.. People transferring like crazy. Look at CO ,he would get plenty of PT here next year, is far from ready to for the NBA, could play alongside DLO and Sheed but hes gone.
 
I for one hope this is not a hoax after spending the afternoon as any tru redmen.comer would, naturally drafting a 1,800-word post on why CO sux, why there will always be a pox upon his house and why Lav is the anti-christ.

Indeed. Plus, Hall has the #11 ranked recruiting class in the country coming in for 2014 and Prov has a 7'1" four-star center.

If CO transfers, I would definitely see PGIV following him as well. I will laugh at the ticket office when they call me to renew next year's season tickets.

Immediately after the game I spoke to a couple of prominent AD administrators who indicated something along those lines, although they weren't certain at the time. What was UNEQUIVOCABLY CLEAR is that SOMETHING happened on the bench when Lavin went over to put him in. If this did happen, I'm not quite sure what Lavin should have done next. Suspend someone who may be leaving anyway? Throw him off the team so he could do it to Obekpa before Obekpa does it to him? Ignore the whole thing? Kiss his butt and make him promise he will never, ever do that again? If it happened, the coach is pretty much between a rock and a hard place.

If it happened, Obekpa was at fault. He committed 3 stupid fouls in no time flat, not Lavin, not the coaches, not his teammates. To bail on his teammates in a critical game is inexcusable and if he is going to bail, I'll miss his blocked shots, but not that kind of attitude.
