Can't wait. A solid win against a good team would be a great way to enter the real season. I have my annual highly inflated sense of how good we'll be based on all the early season reports and hope to see it fulfilled, starting today. Let's go Johnnies!

Iowa State fan from NJ dropping by. I think you guys take this win.
Iowa State is very streaky from 3, we only have 1 starter who can be a great shooter. Our starting SF Milan Momcilovic, is about as streaky as a 3PT shooter as they come. He will either go 1-6 or 6-8, no in between. He usually struggles with stronger and taller opponents; his main shot is a fade-away. Ames native Tamin Lipsey is arguably the best defensive player in the country, a very aggressive player who is always looking to get a steal and run in transition. Freshman Guard Killyan Toure has been great this year but not sure how we will play against guys like Ian Jackson. I think Hopkins will have a great game aswell, Milan is a poor defender and will struggle with him.
