Iona trying to get on our schedule

I would rather they play Columbia. Columbia's program is on the rise and it would be nice to associate with an Ivy League school. Kentucky played them last year and they were losing at halftime I believe.

I think Iona would be a very worthy opponent - prob the best in the Metro area without being a BE team.

Let's just remember Iona didn't come close to beating a top 100 team all year, well maybe UMass, but they were outscored 19-4 in the last 5 minutes (shades of their NCAA collapse, which happens when you can't play a lick of defense), and their signature win was Cleveland State. If that's a competitive game then STJ program has fallen on hard times.
