Ian Steere

Now that was funny, no predictions from me. :)

Me too. Must have put in work for Anderson to let him back, could get a few minutes if Robert's shoulder holds him out.
Honestly, I'm kinda surprised he has returned.
While we don’t know the particulars, on the surface the kid deserves credit for not bailing on the team/season. Maybe he’ll heed the wake up call. Time will tell.

I am shocked he returned. I give him some credit (not sure if it’s the right word) for returning. Tough to really say anything as we don’t know what happened. Today some guys get disciplined and would just walk away. Always had some respect for how D. Harrison turned his time around here. Hopefully Steere figures out what he wants.

We could certainly use his size next season, that is if he makes a serious commitment to working really hard during the off season and comes back a far improved player. I think CMA can help him get there, but he’s got to make the commitment.

@NYPost_Brazille
Told Ian Steere getting reinstated has nothing to do with shoulder injury suffered by Josh Roberts. This was in motion a few days ago. #sjubb

Maybe he saw how much passion his teammates play with, and how much joy they get from winning, and wanted to be a part of it all,

I see nothing but positives in this.

CMA sent a clear message: follow my rules or there's no room for you. Do what's expected and you can have a second chance.

The kid must have picked up his effort and attitude to earn the right to return. So good on him as well.

Part of coaching is helping these kids mature. We saw Lavin have a real positive impact on D'lo's life and career. Hope this is a fresh start for Steere and good thing for us for next season.

Talk is cheap. Show us what you got kid!

Is that for tomorrow or the rest of the season. ;)

Maybe it is easier to re-recruit someone you already have than go out and find a new big body.

The news definitely surprised me. Based on the rankings, the kid clearly has skills. But personality wise, something is definitely wrong considering how much he transferred in HS and college. Have to wonder if someone had an honest conversation with Ian and told him it’s time to put up or shut up.

Hopefully, CMA convinced him to buy in. We shall see.

Id be scared if a man the size of his dad sent me that message

I doubt Ian can contribute anything this late in the season. He always has that confused, deer in the headlights look on the court. He can't learn Mike's system overnight.

Ian will have to work hard in the off season and start fresh next year. Make a good impression in the OOC games.
