Hell, the program is a laughing stock to its diehard fanbase. And now Mike Maher, who can laugh at most anything, is done laughing. I'm afraid we've gone as low as we can go.

Believe or not JF, something tells me it'll be an ok turn out. Maybe 10k. In spite of the fact that both teams stink, there's still name recognition and a rivalry going back to the old days. Plus they'll probably be giving away a slew of tickets to help fill the place. Plus, there's a segment of our fanbase who are masochists

This is the first time in 35 years I've lost all interest in the program. There's nothing to grasp on to this year. The kids seem completely aimless on the court which tells me that Anderson has lost them. Another firing and another rebuild. I'm tired of being patient.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but it's hard for me to fathom how there have been season ticket holders who have held their tickets each year this long, and are just now giving up. How the heck did you survive the apathy of those 6 long years of the Norm Roberts era???

Going back to the late 60's I can't be "out", but I can be very disappointed and that word doesn't nearly describe how disheartened I am about where we find ourselves. Even guys in the media who support us like Bruce Beck, Mike Vaccaro, Dave Sims and Jim Spanarkle have a hard time finding anything positive to say about us.
I'll always root for the Johnnies it's in my blood after investing so much of my adult life in the school and its MBB team.
To think when we made it to the FF in Lexington, and we just had our first baby, I took a pass on attending, to stay home with wife and newborn, telling my wife....."don't worry honey, they will be back and I'll go to the FF then".....

Too be fair and for full disclosure I'll still go to the the msg games when the 114 crew is going and maybe a carnesseca game or 2 especially when weathermannyc is healthy enough to come to games again or if I'm meeting with other friends because friends like this aren't about basketball that's just how we met. Pretty much even now the reason I go is to hang out with them
Yeah, none of us is completely out no matter how much we complain. I'll still go if I get a free ticket(thanks Eric and Panther!! FYI my "masochist" comment wasn't directed at the 2 of you lol). Especially if it includes free food and alcohol. This way I can just self medicate for free while I'm watching

i have lived in the South since 1969. Nevertheless, I have supported the Red & White Club since its inception as the Chieftain Club. I have donated every year despite only attending a game every few years. I have donated thousands of dollars over the many years. I will no longer be a member of the Red & White Club as long as Anderson is coach. I plan on not giving next year & thereafter. He can take Curbelo with him. A frustated old timer.
This cannot be overstated and should be heavily considered while the school is deciding how to approach next steps.
