Luckily I didn’t wantch last nights game and no I’m not turning on the kids but now its just easier to expect to lose. Every game. If anyone tries to decipher what I wrote I’m pro Cragg ( i was happy with the hire so I’m not gonna be a phony ). I’m gonna be honest this is the lowest I felt since. Norm . I’m just done going the extra mile for our team. I’ll go to the remaining 114 games at msg except this weekend but other than thst il

I think these kinds of posts should become more frequent from us fans as this season is slipping away fast. Administration should know we won’t stand for this any longer and we want to be relevant again!!!

This is one of the saddest posts in the history of this site. Mike, you've carried the torch proudly for a long, long time and to see you in this state speaks volumes.

Unfortunately, too many of us are in the same spot. I've been frustrated many times over the past 40 years but never gave in to the notion that St. John's basketball may be dead -- until now. Perhaps the haters were right. *sigh*

I hear ya. I have been a fan for decades and while new to this site (regardless of what one particular idiot says) I have read this site for many years as well. With every new coach I keep hoping for a change, a competitive program but in the end of each regime it’s the SOS. It will take an exceptional hire to right the ship so I hope it happens but honestly, I’m getting too old to let a teams failures make me feel lousy on a regular basis. If there is not a drastic turn around this season and Anderson is still at the helm next year, I will no longer watch or support this program. Enough is enough.

Mike, I was looking forward to grabbing a beer together on Sunday and then it reached the point that there was no way I was ruining my Sunday by going in. Trust me, I get it

I think the team and players are done as well. Any decent player we have will be leaving or transferring out. CMA has lost this team he is not in control.

that said, the university has made many strides in non-basketball, non-athletic areas. From opening new buildings, academic programs, improving the endownment and, dare I say, leadership, the university is moving forward nicely. It could be moving forward more rapidly with some success, let alone sustained success, in MBB. While CMA has not brought us back to any relevancy or moved the needle forward. At least he has not embarassed the university or the program.

That may all be true, but we didn't hire CMA and extend him to not have him embarrass us. We could have hired a coach for 150k per year if all we were looking for was to not be embarrassed. Besides, none of our last 3 coaches embarrassed us, and the last 2 had us relevant at times. MM you can put any positive spin on it you'd like, but to date the CMA hire has been nothing more than an extremely expensive failed experiment.

Damning with faint praise. Had a friend that used to brag “Well at least I’m not in jail”. Quite an accomplishment on both fronts.
