Humboldt St

I was wondering why anyone created a post about Humboldt Street. I spent a lot of time there in college and beyond, at St. Paul's Center at 342 Humboldt St.

On topic, I was called by St. John's ticket office to toss out the first batch of tickets which I haven't received yet. The bar codes were wrong.

That's shocking coming out of our ticket office…….

In other news the sky is blue.
 
We beat them by 67 last year, but they were just devastated by injury. That's probably why we are giving them another chance. Expect a better showing from them this Saturday.

Yes, I did it on an ipad. On the men's basketball schedule page the links are right above the schedule.
 
They won their first exhibition game earlier this week, but it was at home, against fellow D2 squad Southern Oregon. They shot well from 3 (though I think they were something like 3-34 from downtown in the game against us last year, but that was a depleted group). #24 and #34 were their top scorers in the game, though #25 is actually the top returning man from last year.

With all of the recruiting worries and not qualifying stuff, you almost forget there are actual games to be played!

That was my thought process in bumping this thread back up.

Who's going Saturday? I'll be there, section 3, row FF (aka my usual spot).
 
Even though it doesn't count, it will be very interesting to see what the rotation looks like. This is where Lavin should experiment different lineups, not during the season. I'm hoping he realized that last year, and someone said he did note he made that mistake last year during the open practice.

Has anybody gotten their season tickets yet? I know it's only a preseason game but I'd still like to have my ticket before Saturday.

Got them Tuesday. I also tried out the new ticket transfer option, which actually worked. Glory!
 
Forget the phony transcript and recruiting problems. Where can you get a beer before or after Sat. game?
