I used to like Braziller and I know some of you are friends with him off these boards, but he sure acts like a punk sometimes. He loves to pile it on Lavin when he's down. He never misses an opportunity.

Maybe its a New York Post thing. Lenn Robbins hated Lavin too but I think it was more because he was friends with Norm.

I agree with you. When sir Dom got his fourth today, he tweets "it's a good thing St. John's has so much depth". Like shut up dude. I actually like zach when I discuss things with him on twitter but the Jordan media thing got in his head and now he is just a ball buster when it comes to Lavin at times quite annoying

Not sure how true it is, but I heard that is already the case (not feeding info).
 
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about todays game. But it certainly feels good to be taking the day off and heading to the city in a little while for a day of hoops although it's going to feel weird not sitting in our regular msg section with the crew. Get a win and who knows what happens tomorrow. March Madness !!!

Ditto the nervous part. My life as a Redmen fan has far more disappointments than days in the sun. I think beating Providence when it counts most and minimally going to the BET semis would erase a tiny bit of that

Unfortunately, and I really mean it, I committed weeks ago to go to the semis with a close friend and his family, who will root for Nova. Nice dinner beforehand, and then attend a game I have little rooting interest in. In this league normally I root for SJU as #1, 2, and 3, and then I root for Nova. But this loss completely took the wind out of my interest in the BET for the moment. Ironically, we'll go to a steakhouse on a Friday during Lent, which is certainly symbolic of going to the BET semis where SJU again will not partake.
