HARRISON'S IMPROVED SHOT

even if harrison was the greatest outside shooter to ever play basketball, we would still need another consistent three-point threat for next season.

What position would that shooter play?

does it matter? imagine how lethal harrison would be with another shooter for teams to worry about. It would free him up even more.

Ill Will, meet Moe Harkles and Phil Greene. Both of those players will be around 35%. Take that to the bank. I could actually see Moe at or over 40% ala Kevin Jones' soph year.

Exactly Marillac.....any shooter we bring in would not be a top 150 player...he would have to be a bench player for 3 years and be willing to play less than 10 minutes a game. No top end shooter would agree to that on such an inexperienced team.

What we have to keep in mind is that Lavin's MO is to recruit high -impact defensive athletic players, that's why Polee had to transfer. Specialty players will rarely be recruited because they would be a detriment on defense.

If Both Harrison and Harkless H[sup]2[/sup] are on tomorrow we have a great shot at giving cuse a run for their money. I would love to watch the sad faces of all the cuse fans pouring out of the garden after all the $h*! they talk

thank you to the student with the "3-Angelo" sign. Too bad we didn't have a lot to cheer about, but Harrison nailed a few today.

It would be fun to have a bunch of printed signs to hold up when he nails one.

Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way..... And SU,s forwards were superior shooters to our and helped open up the game. So for those who believe that we don't need another shooter? Wake up and smell the coffee... Without a few more in place there will be more blowouts in store.

You need to wake up. Syracuse's "superior shooters" at forward weren't Even good shooters as freshmen. Joseph shot 27% as a frosh and 22% as a soph.

Agreed , you can't shoot well if you are from Montreal :p

I have to disagree about Harrison. I think he's the kind of player who will always "get his." He can score in several ways and on offense at least he never gives up. If he's cold early he'll kill you in the second half. Not even Moe has that quality. DeAngelo has an assasin's mentality and he's having a tremendous freshman year. The other guys would do well to mimic his mindset. Moe doesn't need it but he's a rare talent. I haven't noticed any changes in his shooting style and right now even his misses look good. He also isn't afraid to pass and creates offense for his team mates. A really great get by Lavin.
