Harkless Traded To Portland

Hoping Portland hangs on to their playoff spot. The free throw shooting is unfortunate.

Harkless had a big game last night. 20 pts. 16 boards. 8 for 16 from the field. 2 for 5 from 3. 2 for 2 from free throw line. 7 offensive rebounds. 2 steals.

It's a contract year for him, right? He seemingly found a good home in Portland, solidified a starting position, and now has nice payday coming to him. Congrats!

What's even more impressive is he had 0 points and 2 rebounds at halftime. He stepped up when it mattered and did all his damage in the second half. He's really been great this year

Harkless starting the first playoff game for Portland against the Clippers on TNT.

Didn't realize, but former #sjubb star Maurice Harkless had really nice year off bench in Portland. Blazers start playoffs against Clippers

He's also been doing a great job guarding Chris Paul in the series

Played a key role on both ends of the floor under 3 minutes when game was on the line. It was great seeing this guy come through for his team.

Good game so far: Harkless with 10 pts and 4 boards in the 1st quarter in his game. 4-5 from the field.

@RcsSports
Texas Asst Jai Lucas expected to be added to staff at @TCU . This would give the Horned Frogs a direct artery into the heart of John Lucas.

Very smart.

Harkless, 14 pts. 5-12 overall, but 4 of 6 from 3 pt line. Only 3 rebounds. He played 30 minutes.
He's going to get a nice little contract.

Let's see if the Blazers can give the Warriors a battle. GS still doesn't have Curry and won't have him for at least the first 3 games of the series

The Blazers have had trouble handling pressure D this season, and the Warriors can still bring that without Curry. Plus Lillard is the James Harden of point guards, so Livingston should be able to score. I assume he will probably be posting him up often, and hopefully abusing him
