totally agree. Seems like a great kid who hustles and can shoot which we’ve really needed this year. Didn’t understand why he wasn’t getting minutesStill scratching my head over him being in the doghouse.
He seems to have everything you want in a team player.
He’s very capable of harassing Kolek , Newton, Spencer , Ashworth , Richmond into less than their usual output .totally agree. Seems like a great kid who hustles and can shoot which we’ve really needed this year. Didn’t understand why he wasn’t getting minutes

100%. If Glenn can give us similar type of scoring next year that Chris has given us this year and do everything else Glenn does, he will be a big piece for us.There are guys who average 8-10 ppg and helpful. There are guys with similar scoring output who are game changers & embrace rebounding, defending, constant movement and passing to teammates. Glenn seems the latter.
Some say Bruce Bowen, but I dare say Josh Hart-like.There are guys who average 8-10 ppg and helpful. There are guys with similar scoring output who are game changers & embrace rebounding, defending, constant movement and passing to teammates. Glenn seems the latter.

I have been very positive about Taylor here all year, loved his game when I was down in Charleston. But he had went from unselfish to timid on offense, and as Dingle was struggling as well Pitino was looking for offense anywhere he could get it. He doesn’t have to score like last night but he has to make the opponent guard him.I think it is pretty clear: Pitino wanted offense, and Glenn wouldn't shoot the ball or take it to the rack. I can't say Pitino was wrong on that one - as much as I have been on the Taylor bandwagon, even I found his reluctance to be an offensive force frustrating. So Pitino benched him for Luis (who like Jenkins never saw a shot he didn't like and that seems to be what Pitino wants), and eventually told Taylor "if you wanna play, you better shoot some more." Don't think that helped the team in the short term, but maybe helped both the team and Taylor in the long run.
Reading Pitino’s lips, it appeared as if he said to Taylor, “it isn’t too early to call you captain.”I loved seeing the big hug that Pitino and Taylor shared when he came out during the closing minutes. Huge smile on Taylor's face too.
I've been high on Taylor all year but can see Lawfanman & Idraft's point about him getting a little too passive on offense. Been mixed on Luis all year (love the talent and effort but not Carmelo like black hole play on offense and sometimes delinquent defense). Have to say he seemed to make an effort to rein in those tendencies last night and was a giant plus for us. Hope it continues.I have been very positive about Taylor here all year, loved his game when I was down in Charleston. Very happy for him for his recent play as his effort has always been there.
Luis wants to go to the basket all the time and is very talented and good at that. There is some matchup stuff there. Creighton - you are going to lose doing that with Kalkbrenner there. Different situation with Butler. Villanova as well, forget how he did against them but Dixon is not much of a rim protector.I've been high on Taylor all year but can see Lawfanman & Idraft's point about him getting a little too passive on offense.
