Girls Basketball Shot Clock

At a time when boys and girls basketball teams are more athletic than ever and are playing at a faster and faster pace, New York State will be voting on possible rule changes that would affect several high school sports.

One item under consideration is to abolish the shot clock entirely in high school girls basketball. This has to be one of the most absurd things I've ever heard. Who comes up with this nonsense?

Not sure how I feel about this. In girls hs bball there is such a talent disparity that abolishment of shot clock could favor less talented teams who slow down the pace and can control the ball against superior opponents
