because he is the crest white strip guy and gets paid for smiling

For him I don't have a problem with it right now. Seems like a really good kid. If he is smiling at the end of the game and we lose then I'll be angry

I understand kids want offense now and even in NFL it's offense oriented but damn I would love at least effort on defense and holding a team to low score
 
Hate to say it but very little I like about this team right now. I don't necessarily expect many wins but effort is something else and their continuing going through the motions defense, jumping through the roof on fakes 25 feet from the basket, etc. is hard to take. Mistakes through aggressiveness I could live with but what player can anyone say is leaving it all on the court?

Nah in general I agree with you. When I played sports when I was younger I never looked happy no matter the score

well said and exactly how I feel. God I wish for Norm's low ranked kids defense pride
 
Let's be a bit more optimistic ... if they don't settle for shots, and work the ball, we can win this game.


Work the ball for open shots.
And stay disciplined defensively.
 
No one moves without the ball. THey all stand around watching the guy with the ball, waiting for him to go one on one.
