@Georgetown, Mon. Jan. 9, 6:30pm, FS1/970AM

What worries me about G'town is they have decent height with their guards, smallest is 6'2". Can't allow Govan to get the ball down low. Pryor and Peak are players, could be a problem for us defensively..

I do think our effort will return on the defensive end. Still, I agree, Georgetown has size and is traditionally very physical.

Just want to be in the game with 5 minutes left.

We haven't played well in DC in years, another double digit loss awaits. Govan will probably play like Shaq! :)

Hard to refute.

We have not done a very good job with opposing teams big How do we all of a sudden do it against Georgetown

Hoyas should have beaten Butler today. Fowler hit a big tying three at the top of the key. They will be mad or maybe beaten, we will see.

Hope not; we need a pleasant surprise...

Georgetown is now 0-10 in recent Big East play, as they lost their final 6 conference games last year. In fact, guess who their last Big East win was against?

JTIII's head is on a platter right now.

that didn't stop the announcers from praising him yesterday.

A win tomorrow night would be a surprise. Young team playing the second game on the road off short turn around against a team that is desperate for a win. On the other hand, our team shoots well and G-town could implode.

I know where you're going with that.

We were their last regular season BE win, but they did beat DePaul in the Tournament last year, so the 0-10, IMO, is not completely accurate.

Lets face it any big East team will be a surprise

Find me an announcer who is ever critical of a coach. Waste of breath.

Hopefully people realize we're going to be an underdog, probably by about 5+ points. Georgetown has a much higher RPI and Kenpom than we do.

Maybe we shoot well and have a chance. Maybe their guys exercise their demons and blow us out.

There are no surprise losses left for you.

Georgetown has two bigs who can score down low who are 270 lbs. Defensively, we have no answer for that. Plus, defending against their Princeton inspired offense requires great discipline, attention to detail and communication which are all things that we have shown little to none of on the defense.
