Gameday Photos - Creighton vs St. John's

Pretty telling about the hoops team when the dance team got the loudest cheer of the night. At least it proves the crowd can come alive if only the team would give them something to get excited about as when they staged the little comeback.
 
It's funny that you mention the crowd coming to life. Last night right before I started shooting I looked into the crowd and I was reminded of the famous line that Mike Gorman once said about Alumni Hall/Carnesecca Arena crowds.....he said, that he has heard louder audiences at a movie theater. Last night the seats to my right & left were flat out lifeless. The students above the basket were loud & energetic but they make up such a small amount of the crowd. But I digress, that is probably better suited for another thread.
