Easily winnable. Unfortunately, I sensed the collapse coming and it did.
I could feel the ebb and flow of the game moving in the direction--momentum-wise--of Xavier.
Oh, well.....

He looks terrible. Just sit him down, he is not there tonight.
Dunn has been horrible from the line since coming back from his concussion which means all year.

Get some new material.

Good teams will play like Xavier did tonight, take us lightly, but just be able to turn it up when they need to, and still win somewhat comfortably. Lesser teams will see us as a win, and play their hardest. Not going to be fun.
"Taking us lightly" is typically overrated and trite fan speak.
We're capable of playing tough, but have lapses. We hit a lapse per usual and Xavier took advantage of it.
My problem is being too wedded to a plan. IMO, why not play to put you in the best possible position to win games..... Like implementing a zone once Xavier started going to work and getting what they wanted as we stayed in man defense.
Show 'em a different look.

dominated in the paint. Hang around then we collapse. Same thing. Missed shots, free throws, rebounding, dumb turnovers.
But other than those 6 things we didn't play that badly.
