Mike, our jump shooting has meant nothing today. We missed 11 free throws and 10 layups. That’s 31 pts right there. We are down 9. Forget the three point shooting for today.

This offense is putrid. Good D. We'd be a really good team if we were even just mediocre shooters.

They need to shoot better. It's going to be tough for them to get any assists, since the rest of these guys have trouble finishing.

I don't disagree with, Mike. Both of your points are valid. If we'd performed well in any 1 of the 3 categories (FT's, finishing layups or knocking down 3's) we probably win..

I think Xavier was 9-28 from 3 pt range . That’s 27 points. We were 1-14 or something like that . That’s a 24 point gap . But, it not only our poor shooting . Having another team shoot 28’3 is also poor defense .
