Ugly game, didn't expect they to come out an lay an absoulte egg like this after a crushing loss, team is in dire need of leadership and someone to step up. Body language looks horrible.

Good point.  Don't really see a leader on this team yet.  No scrap in this team right now, just like DePaul, Nova is punching us in the mouth and no response outside of chucking up some three.

Down by 17. Johnnies can still wake up and play respectable D. Coach Anderson needs to get this team motivated.Start playing like they did the last time against Villanova.

I will be very interested to see if we come out with any fire to start the second half. Have seen none from any of our guys so far and that is disappointing.

Think we are lucky to only be down 17.  Seems like it should be 25-30.   Hopefully we can shave off 7 by the first tv timeout.

The prescription for beating us is pretty easy: you need to beat the press, then in the halfcourt you can beat the guards on the dribble and kill us in the paint.   If you can't beat the press or handle the pressure, then you're in trouble.

Defensively if you check Champagnie at the 3 point line you can essentially neutralize him, Posh and Dunn can't shoot so you just need to drop back and reject them at the rim, and you assume nobody else will step up to beat you if Williams isn't healthy.   We don't scheme anything to get open looks so if you identify the shooters and the drivers we are no trouble in the half court.

What's frustrating this game is the lack of execution.  If they made a few open 3s and a few less mistakes, they could have been in the game.  Instead it's long 2s, the worst shot in the game.

Frustrating.  Let's see if there are any halftime adjustments.

If u remember, Champy hit the freshman wall last year around this time.  Maybe posh and wusu have hit it now.

They are struggling a bit but Champ averaged 14-7 last ten games of the year as a freshmen.

First five minutes of the second half will tell a lot about this team and if they have the wherewithal to win the next four games in a row and give themselves a shot at an NCAA bid.

Ugggggggly. The season wouldn't be anywhere near as interesting without them but the truth is our stars are playing like underclassmen and their stars are playing like seniors. No matter how the other guys play our big guns laid a turd in the first half.

Let's not talk about  the ncaa
the it let's look toward next  right now 11.5 looks like it's not enough unless nova backs off

No interior defense whatsoever. No offensive rebounding whatsoever. Throw Toro in and let him foul out. What do we have to lose?
